Maiden edition of “Obaasima Summit” to be staged on May 31


The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of MAP Leadership Organization, Ama Pratt will be hosting the maiden edition of the “Obaasima Summit on May 31, 2019 at the Tang Palace Hotel in Accra.

The summit will also host some powerful Ghanaian women from different sectors of the country to share their successes and failures with youthful ladies on the theme: “empowered for continuity “.

Some of the guest speakers for the occasion include the Gender Minister Cynthia Morrison, former Minster of Education, Proffessor Jane Opoku Agymang, Reverend Minister and Business person Rev.Joyce Aryee.

Others are the Chairperson of the EC, Jean Mensah,Politician and lawyer,Joyce Bawah Motgari, Special Aide to former President John Mahama, Regional CEO of UBA, Abiola Bawuah and the founder of Stratcom Africa, Esther Cobbah.

The much-awaited program come in three (3) folds; the social conversation session,the mentorship dialogue and the speakers’ engagement session.

To further reiterate, the “OBAASIMA SUMMIT”, it is an all women project designed by Ama Pratt, Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Map Leadership Organization designed solely to empower, equip and promote women to live up to standard and pursue their dreams in life.

In an interview with Ama Pratt, she said,” The program is a celebration of femininity for the successes we have achieved collectively and individually”.

She added that, it is intended to serve as a point of call to action for women to have conversations that will wake them up to do more for themselves, and the next generation.

Preparations towards the program include public awareness creation on some radio and television stations like Neat fm,Live fm,starr fm,Rainbow radio and Atinka Television.

The program which starts at exactly 5pm on the dot will also witness live band performances to thrill every audience.

Registration is free registration for all participants including women exhibitors.
